They did get back to me, but it took longer than I expected. I ended up having to follow up and keep checking for a response, which felt like extra work I shouldn’t have had to do.

From what I remember, the shipping cost was actually cheaper than I expected. Nothing fancy, but it felt fair and the overall experience was nice.

I really wanted to love this outfit, and it is still wearable, but the smocking looked a little sloppy in person. I’ve really liked shopping on Smocked Auctions because they have such a big mix of cute styles. Holiday outfits, everyday stuff, dressier pieces... you know, just enough options to make me think I’m “only browsing” and then somehow end up with a cart full of things. I can usually find something for both of my kids without scrolling forever, which is always a nice little miracle. Some styles do sell out fast, but shocking news: cute kids’ clothes are popular. Overall, it’s been fun to shop there, and I pretty much always spot something new I want.

I tried checking out twice, and both times the site froze right after I entered my card info, which made me uncomfortable. Then my shipping option changed at the very end, so the whole thing started to feel unreliable. I ended up giving up because it just wasn’t worth the headache

I’ve used smockedauctions.com a couple of times now, i felt excited at first because there were some really cute smocked outfits listed. The bidding part was simple enough, and I liked browsing through everything more than I expected to.
Then I got a little annoyed because the updates didn’t always feel super quick, and one of my invoices took longer than I thought it would. It wasn’t a huge disaster or anything, but when you’re waiting to know what’s going on, it can definitely get frustrating.

Shipping was okay, not fast enough to make me thrilled, but not slow enough to make me swear it off either. I’d probably use the site again if I spotted something I really loved, but I’d go into it with average expectations.

The fabric feels really nice, like soft and comfy, and the stitching has held up fine so far. No issues, no complaints.

A couple of the buttons were confusing too, at one point I wasn’t sure if my bid had actually gone through. It does work overall, but it could definitely be a lot smoother

I was kind of unsure about ordering at first because kids’ clothes are just weird sometimes. One brand fits fine, the next one is way too small or huge, so I really didn’t know what to expect.

I used the size chart on smockedauctions.com and, it worked out. The outfit fit my daughter pretty much how I thought it would. It wasn’t tight, but it also wasn’t baggy or awkward-looking.
That was a relief because I really hate dealing with returns and all that back-and-forth stuff. I’ll probably just order her normal size again next time.

My order was mostly fine, but one romper showed up in the wrong size, which was annoying. The rest of the stuff looked like the pictures and the colors were right, so it wasn’t a total disaster.

I emailed them and heard back after about a day. They did fix it, but dealing with that little circus was a hassle. Giving it 3 stars.
